In this version of my earlier Klee-inspired work, I first painted a colorful background; then using a single color such as the Acra Violet in this case, I isolated different shapes from the background until all that's left is a collection of shapes. In the middle of this picture, there is an eye and more shapes to suggest a geometric head and torso.
