Years ago, I remember reading how numerous astronomers are training their instruments on the sky looking for any asteroid that might one day collide with the earth.

At the same time, everyday there are stories of this or that disaster or future anticipated disaster, so that it's easy to think of this work literally or as representing the general angst that many of us live with.

I think this is the first work of mine that uses an isolated large head to represent a person.
