This is an example of a painting from earlier in my life. From 1970 to 1975, I did a number of paintings in the spirit of Paul Klee, one of the masters of 20th century art. Besides this and "Surrounded by Symbols", I would eventually like to include a number of works from this period of my artwork in the website.This work uses numerous small block shapes, but because of the space
between them, these blocks create larger forms with their neighboring blocks.
